KHL - Struggling season start for Slovan, Riga and Vityaz

The players have been back in action in the Kontinental Hockey League since a few weeks now. However, HC Slovan Bratislava, Dinamo Riga and HC Vityaz haven’t quite found their way to success yet.

None of the three is currently ranked in a spot which qualifies for the play-offs.

HC Vityaz is ranked best of the three clubs at 9th place in the standings. The Russians are just two points away from a play-off spot and in direct reach to what they claimed is their season goal. This Saturday already the movement to a temporary play-off spot could be done when they play HC Slovan on home ice.

HC Slovan however needs to do better if they don’t want to lose contact to the play-off spots. Therefore, the Slovakian team is hoping to steal points against Vityaz.

Meanwhile, Dinamo Riga is already far out of play-off reach. The Latvian team has just won one regulation game so far in the season and will probably miss the play-offs again this season.

WINGAS wishes continuous success to all the three clubs!
