Kassel: Confidence after decent season start

Picture: Kassel Huskies

It was a decent start for the Kassel Huskies so far in the new DEL2 season. After two games, the team was able to secure 4 points on their side. Playing a convincing game against the Dresdner Eislöwen in their season home opener the Huskies kept all three points at home.

A few days later the Huskies faced the top team from last season’s main round, the Bietigheim Steelers. Even though they took a 3:1 lead going into the third period, the team couldn’t defend that lead so that the Steelers are able to come back and win the game in overtime. Therefore, the Huskies brought one point home to Hessen.

This Friday, the Huskies are now facing the Lausitzer Füchse on home ice. After that decent start into season, the team is confident that they will be able to beat the sixth ranked team from last season. The Füchse just played one game so far which they convincingly won 2:0 against Freiburg.

Fans are looking forward to an exciting ice hockey night. Let’s go Huskies!
